Founded by Coach Nick Saban and Ms. Terry Saban in 1998, Nick’s Kids Foundation is dedicated to supporting children, families, teachers and students through charitable giving, community partnerships and hands-on service. From funding nonprofit organizations and supporting teachers to building homes and investing in projects that strengthen communities, the Foundation turns the Sabans’ platform into opportunities to help others.

For almost three decades, Nick’s Kids has donated more than $18 million, supported more than 1,000 organizations, helped build 21 Habitat for Humanity homes and provided more than 50,000 autographed items to support children’s causes.

The Saban’s legacy project is a $IOO million, groundbreaking hub that will elevate education and combine STEM programs and the arts to provide a unique and interactive learning experience designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. Through a public-private partnership with Nick’s Kids Foundation, the Saban family, the State of Alabama, and the City of Tuscaloosa, Saban Center will advance education though STEM programs, creative learning, theater, and outdoor recreation. Following the 2011 tornadoes that hit Alabama, Coach Saban and Ms. Terry partnered with Habitat for Humanity. At the time, the University of Alabama program had won 13 national championships, which led to the 13 for 13 project - one home to honor each championship. As a tribute to the success of Alabama football, the Foundation has continued the tradition, building a Championship House for every additional title - now totaling 21 homes.
